Informations

The holiday home is located in the characteristic fishing village of Porticello, 60 m from the sea, ideal for short and long stays in both the summer and winter seasons.
The property is located in the heart of the village with characteristic kiosks, restaurants, pizzerias, a large supermarket, bakery and fresh fish sellers all around.
A small marina allows boats and dinghies to be hired for trips to explore the protected marine reserve of the Formica Shoal, Capo Zafferano and the famous Arco Azzurro. At 1.2 km, the railway station connects the village with the most important centres of interest: Porticello (a seaside resort famous for its fish market), the Archaeological Site of Solunto (one of the three Punic Cities in Sicily), Bagheria (the city of villas, of the painter Guttuso and the director Giuseppe Tornatore), the city of Palermo or the village of Cefalù. The beauty of this stretch of coastline, with interesting sites (Sant'Elia, Capo Zafferano, Mongerbino, Solanto, etc ), with its numerous bays and inlets, and the clarity of its sea, have also allowed the development of tourist/hotel activities, with the birth of many gastronomic establishments made famous by the offer of the local product 'Porticello fish'.
